At max you finish with one more win this season
Well there's a crazy 180° turn from your optimistic threads. Welcome to the dark side kid.

I would still be optimistic if Vick were starting. I think he could overcome that putrid Oline to make a playoff push with that weak schedule

But even with that weak schedule, without Vick's escapability and with Foles being so inexperienced, this Carolina game is your best chance at getting that one more win without Vick

You are aware we have 7 loses right?....

9-7 could have won that division if you beat the Cowboys, Giants, and Redskins.

All which would have been possible with Vick who has owned that division in games he's played and finished since joining Philly. (9-0)

Actually now that I think about it, if you upset Carolina on Monday Night football you're still alive if Vick can start the next game vs the Cowboys

Optimism FTW

I believe you are spot on with that investigatory work, as well. But I think we've already posted about it too much, as we need to keep a Fight Club Rule #1 approach to speaking about it. For our own safety. Laughing

Vick not ruled out of Panthers game

Quote:

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/11/23/vick-moves-to-phase-two-of-concussion-recovery-phase/

Per Reuben Frank of CSNPhilly.com, Eagles quarterback Mike Vick has progressed to Phase Two. Vick is now cleared for exercise. To get there, he had to pass the ImPACT test, which measures brain activity before and after a concussion.

Vick has yet to be cleared to practice or play in a game. This makes it unlikely that he’ll play on Monday night against the Panthers. However, Vick has not yet been ruled out.

Final clearance must come from an independent neurologist.

Keep the hope alive.

Foles was already declared the starter.

He more than likely WILL be named starter but that seems pre-mature

Where is the official announcement?

Either way a win on Monday Night and the season is still alive. And if there is one team that the Eagles could beat with Nick Foles it's the team with the worst record in the NFC.

Also could be Vinny Curry's coming out party along with Bryce Brown who can show everyone why he was once considered the top flight RB out of HS

Already posted in the GDT:

The Philadelphia Inquirer confirms Nick Foles will start versus the Panthers Monday night.
Quote:
Foles has taken all of the practice reps this week with Michael Vick still in Phase I of the league's concussion protocol. The last time the Eagles had a rookie QB start two games in a row was Donovan McNabb in 1999.

They won't officially rule Vick out simply to keep Carolina on their toes and spend time preparing for Vick as well as Foles.

Trent Richardson was ranked 2 spots ahead of BB according to ESPNU150.

I gotcha. Sort of like the Kaepernick deal where it's a foregone conclusion but they just won't announce it just yet.

I'm just saying though those reports were when Vick was still in Phase 1, not Phase 2.

At least this means Vick could be ready for the Cowboys if Foles can hold down the fort for just one game
