I never thought it would be possible for a team to take a big leap with Brady Quinn. But I'd be willing to bet the 49ers and Patriots each had less turnovers in the entire 2011 Season tan Casel had in the first five weeks of 2012. I think al he has to do is not turn the ball ove andte Chiefs can contend for the AFC West.

Well, Cassel has 15 thus far. Last year, the 49ers had only 10, the Packers had 14, and the Patriots had 17. So worse than two teams, though not the two you listed.

Also, while I'm looking at it, Cassel's 15 turnovers is more than any team in the NFL so far this season (not counting KC, of course.)

So wait, Matt Cassel alone has more turnovers than any other team in this league?

Really can't wait to see what Quinn can do. When he first came in the game last week, he hit Bowe IN STRIDE and it turned into a TD, but a bad penalty call by the official called it back.

He does. He just dosent ever use it. Quinn can throw the deep ball, but like you said he is way too conservative

Why does every think when someone says 'NFL arm' it means how far they can throw it? I am talking about the ability to fit balls in tight coverage. The ability to throw the 10 yard out route outside of the numbers.

Even after watching Cassel throw wounded ducks at the feet of Dwayne Bowe early in the game this past Sunday, I know he still has more zip on his throws than Brady Quinn.

When Quinn came in for Cassel he hit Bowe with a beautiful spiral that he had to fit into tight coverage on a 3rd down conversion.

That throw alone was better then like 1000 Cassel throws ive ever seen

Yes. And he has seven more turnovers than the average team.

Chiefs have now become super bowl contenders.

Only team with more turnovers than him is the Eagles.

This reminds me of when people wanted Carr over Alex, it didn't work out so well.

If I were a Chiefs fan I would look forward to see what he can do. You never know.

Exactly. Can't be any worse then Cassell has been and it definitely won't hurt to give someone else a shot. You just never know in this game.

Brady Quinn is terrible.

Gerard Warren was legitimately a very good player. I liked Ekuban alright. The rest not so much.

I know you are being facetious, but honestly all I am looking for is a quarterback that shows some semblence of confidence on the field and doesn't immediately wilt under pressure both real and perceived. Quinn may end up doing that, but we know what we have with Cassel so I want to see if Quinn can take advantage of the opportunity if nothing else show that he is worth having on the roster as a backup once a better starting is brought on board (through the draft).

I hope he looks Dwayne Bowe's way many times. I'm worried that will hurt his production.
