Definitely on the trade down wagon now. Weeden has shown me enough to believe that he can be a serviceable QB for the next few years. His pocket presence has improved tremendously since the beginning of the season, something he made me very worried about during the preseason. Also he continues to prove that he is a constant professional, even after mistakes he isn't afraid to jump right on the horse. I don't think I've seen him back down from a situation all season.
I'm not so sure that we are going to have the #1 pick though. |

I'm 50/50... If anything I'd lean toward Weedon so the team doesnt have to waste another draft pick on QB, but I need to see more from both guys. |

Are we still talking about Geno Smith after his two stinkers against Texas Tech and Kansas St.? Or are we liking Collin Klein now? _________________

Matt Barkley. Never understood why everyone jumped off the wagon when he decided to stay at USC. If you're looking for a pocket passer, I think I would take him over Geno right now.
Overall though, I'm definitely on the trade down wagon, I've liked what I've seen from Weeden. _________________

Getting a possible elite QB could never be a wasted pick. |

Geno Smith's stats has suffered greatly the last two games, but watching him play I have no doubt he has the potential to be Elite.
What I also know, and what most of West Virginia is finding out, is that the talent in the BIG12 is much better than the talent in the Big East...
WVU is going to take some lumps that for sure, and their schedule doesnt get easier the rest of the season. |

Geno so far sucks vs a Descent big 12 zone D. Not sure if that makes him #1 overall material _________________ The Dawgpounds new three headed monster!

Geno smith at this point isn't even the best qb in the big 12 _________________ 2013 Joe Blackburn HOF Award Recipient

In the T-Tech game, all of the deep balls were sailing due to the wind. Geno puts a lot of air under his throws and that wind wreck it.
I didnt watch the K-State game _________________

I have never joined the Geno Smith bandwagon and these past two games certainly show why he isnt top 5 worthy. I have been surprised how poorly this class of QBs is turning out to be. No clear number one, it looks more like just a bunch of top 25 and round 2 QBs this year. _________________

Luckily the Chiefs and Raiders (do they even have anything to give up) will be in dire need of a QB. It's also luck that thanks to the rules young QBs can come in and be successful. I'm not sure what to think when some says all the QBs look pick 25 or under, considering what Tannehill is doing (and he wasn't suppose to start) and don't forget about Russel Wilson (though I figured he was what Colt wishes he could be).
I hope we trade and are able to get a couple of solid defensive players. |

Yeah, I haven't seen it either yet, but some folks think he's the second coming.
When I watch him he never seems to make throws that make me sit back and say DAMMMNNN. Luck did. RGIII did. Hell, Weeden does.
FWIW, neither does Barkley. At this point I'd probably roll the dice with Logan Thomas and give him a year or two on the bench to develop as a passer. At least he has the 'wow' factor. _________________
