When it rains it pours.
I'm going to give this team the benefit of the doubt until the game after our bye week. If we don't come out and play some inspired football, make adjustments to our game plan from the past few games, and overall show some sort of cohesion between the offense and the defense, then I think it would be safe to mail in this season. A big nasty DT in the first sounds really nice though. Maybe a stud safety to help out Gamble and Norman (I think he will develop into a fine corner, just give him some time). If only we had a Top 5 pick in the 2014 draft. I'd love to grab Jadeveon Clowney to destroy opposing offenses for the next 10 years _________________

This is the Panthers you're talking about. I'm sure you'll get your wish. _________________

Why wasn't this same theory applied when Jake Delhomme was the QB? _________________

Why wasn't this same theory applied when Jake Delhomme was the QB? | I stayed a Jake Delhomme fan far longer than a lot of our fans did. And Newton has never thrown 5 interceptions in a game...
Am I seriously sitting here giving reasons why we should keep Newton after EVERYONE here was pimping him as a mega-superstar at the beginning of the season (not 5 games ago)? _________________ Teams:

I stayed a Delhomme fan for a long long time as well, it probably was not until 3-4 games into the season after he signed the big contract that I soured on him. _________________

Panthers have shuffled their O-line in wake of Kalil injury, moving Byron Bell to RG and putting Garry Williams at tackle. |

Yeah, Campbell got most of the 2nd team reps at RG in the preseason.
I like the move. Bell had been doing better at RT, but I think his best long-term position has always been RG, so we'll get to see how he does there. _________________
