Schiano has done a great job with this team. His scheme will work. You need to have a balanced attack in this league. The run n shoot crap is for college not the nfl. Schianos going to be a great coach so relax with this chip Kelly nonsense
Chip doesn't run a "Run N Shoot". He uses all types of schemes to win. Check out Oregon's QB rushing attempts in 2009 to 2011. His offense is dictated on his players. He like the uptempo because it a superior to a traditional huddle offense. He doesn't just do options and such. I don't know how much you guys dug into Chip's background when the rumors were out but Chip isn't like others.

Most college coaches try to out talent other teams. I mean how can Nick Saban fail when he has 5 first rounders on his team at 1 time?

Chip doesn't like recruiting. He likes coaching and teaching and learning.

Oregon has won 3 straight conference championships. While have a total of 1 player being an award winner or All American. To show how hard that is to do I looked up last years college teams. Oregon was the only conference winner form a big 5 conference (SEC, B1G, Big-12, ACC and Pac-12) to win a conference without a first team AP All American or an award winner. The only one. The best player on Oregon's team was drafted in the 2nd round. Arizona has had more Pro players (players drafted) than Oregon during Chip's tenure at Oregon. Oregon also had the 3rd most all conference players last year according to coaches in the conference. So even the coaches there think he plays with inferior talent then Stanford and USC. Yet, in the last 3 years he is 4-2 against those 2 teams.

I don't mean to impede but I was scared and excited when the rumors were there. As an Oregon fan it would suck to lose him but as a football fan I'd love to see him take the NFL world by storm.

Probably would have traded up for RG3.
