I drafted him in my league | wow interesting. was your draft before the season started? iirc, he wasn't announced as the starter until the day of the very first game. if you drafted him before that, mad props bro. |
The draft was after the 2nd week of the preseason. He might not have been named the official starter yet, but he was playing with the starters and looked good. _________________

AS good as shanny is making rbs look good. This guy is straight out baller. You cant teach a guy to run over and run the ball with such violence.
This guy runs so hard when its 4th qtr i see defenses actually start diving on his legs because they dont wanna go one on one because he hurts them. Hes a nasty runner, hasnt seen this kind of power since steven davis( and i think morris runs harder then davis) |

The redskins need to make Morris the feature player on offense.
As good as rg3 has been and how great he will be in the future. I would rather have skins play run first with morris and let rg3 manage the game.
Morris has the potential to be a franchise RB. Redskins made couple playoffs with portis carrying the load. Let morris do the same, rg3 can manage game. No need to put so much pressure on rg3(even though he has delivered)
Run the ball and play good defense thats what skins need to do. |

I've maintained that Morris is benefiting greatly from the system.
Does he have talent? Yes. Is his talent as good as the elite RBs in the NFL? Not even close.
If you look at his runs, a lot of the time he's getting to the second and third levels completely untouched. He falls forward, which is good, but nothing elite.
More a product of the system rather than a truly elite talent at RB. |

To me he is the real deal. He's legit. He reminds me of a young Frank Gore. Hard runner. _________________

He's a beast. This isn't just a plug and play RB in that system as we've seen in the past.
Morris has size, speed, strength and vision. When the ZBS scheme has a back like this, it really REALLY looks good. See also Foster in Houston. _________________

I think he's excellent.
Vision is so vastly underrated compared to other traits far to often on this site. He hits the right holes/makes the right cutbacks and then runs with violence. His legs churn.
I too drafted him in 2 fantasy leagues as my last pick - and then promptly dropped him before the season started for fear of Shanny being Shanny and reports that Royster was the actual starter. Bah! Mistake. _________________ In Andy We Trust!

I agree with most everyone above.
Know what also makes him different in Mike's system? Mike hasn't done the revolving turnstile of RBs like he usually does. Morris has been the starter each week. _________________
