At this point I think Clowney has to be the heavy favorite for #1 overall. He's amazing. |
Wouldn't shock me if 3 pass rushers went 1-2-3 next year. But yes, it is Clowney's to lose at this point. |
Who would the other 2 be? And how highly would you grade Clowney compared to past 1st round DE prospects (Mario, Peppers, Chris Long, etc.)? _________________ Not removing until:

I have been saying this in the Browns Forum, Clowney is my favorite prospect for next year, Heck He would be my favorite prospect this year.
I think Clowney is gonna be for DE, what Megatron is for WR _________________ 2013 Joe Blackburn HOF Award Recipient

Clowney, is better as a prospect then either of those listed.
Clownet-Lynch-and one of the remaining 2013 guys could be the third, I would even take them in this order: Clowney-Werner-Lynch. But this obviously changes as team needs go. _________________

He's pretty good. Reminds me of a better version of Christian Ponder (stronger arm, similar or better athleticism). |

I think DeAndre Hopkins comes out this year. He's having a sensational season. No reason to go back to school. |
Tend to think the same way, but at this time, have him listed in my 2014 notes. |
Fair enough, but then I don't see why you didn't include guys like Justin Hunter, Keenan Allen, and Cordarelle Patterson at this point. Are they more likely to declare than Hopkins? _________________ IN THE BAY AREA WE SMOKE PHILLIES |

assuming they all stay healthy. All could be top 10 picks as well. _________________

Surprised Derek Carr isn't on this list, we are talking about the 2014 draft right? _________________

1) I doubt he leaves early
2) He needs to add more size/strength, right now he would be undersized/tweener and they dont typically go round 1.
3) He isn't a sure fire 1st round guy like Clowney, Lee, etc. _________________

Malcolm Mitchell CB/WR, UGA
Probably has more upside as a CB, but obviously hasn't gotten a lot of experience over there yet. The lack of experience might be a reason for him to come back for his senior year, but the talent is undeniable. Should be interesting to watch next season as he's likely to be the closest thing we've seen to a 2 way player since Champ Bailey. |

Pretty crazy he was a really good WR last year and now a talented CB. He should stick at CB IMO, but he can contirbute on both sides. _________________
