Shot it with a .30-06 loaded with 165 grain Remington Cor-Lokts at 70 yards. I was shocked that he went 50 yards after the shot. |
Nice. I recently went out to western nebraska during their high power season. I have been going out there the past 8 years or so and my dad has been going for 20+ on a friend of ours ranch. This year I couldnt afford to buy a buck tag (damn college) but i did get a "season's choice tag" which is two antlerless deer. It was still a very fun hunt and I bagged two button bucks last weekend. Where we hunt there are both mule deer and white tail and we have brought home many good ones over the years. Now it is time to get one with my bow back in iowa. Late muzzleloader season is also coming up in December. |

Well, I signed what could be my last contract with the Army! Just re-enlisted for another 6 years. So, that will take me to 2019 before I am once again elegible to be a free agent with 22 years of Service when that day comes! _________________
