Suggest that Special Teams be included in analysis henceforth. Randall Cobb vs. our coverage is the biggest mismatch in the game next to "insert returner here" vs. Green Bay's coverage teams. I'm doing everything I can to trade for him in my return TD count double league, not to mention knowing he will torch McCain at least once. _________________

Boo. We need to hold Clay and let JJ Watt loose. Stupid NFL took a sack away from Watt in the Miami game saying it was a running play. Now he only has 7.5 and is .5 behind CMIII. _________________

I had my first Watt nightmare last night. Woke up in a cold sweat after he just bowled over the left side of our line and collapsed on Rodgers for the 3rd time.
I haven't been scared of a Defense like this in a long time. |
The Bears didnt give you nightmares after that game? _________________

Just read that JJ Watt was stripped of a sack week 1, i guess it was determined it was a designed QB run _________________

No way. That's a division game and they're almost always close but we have had their number since 2009.
This D is terrifying on all 3 levels and our Oline has looked like crap this whole year.

WR-Push |
I'm REALLY wondering how you came to this conclusion in regards to the WR units between these two teams. Feel free to share. |
Depends on if Jennings plays are not. Last time I heard (could be wrong) he probably won't play. We have the best WR out of the group, but the Packers WR's are deep with Nelson, Driver, Jones and Cobb.
At best I see the comparison a push.
....and wait, did we seriously just sign Davis and Anderson again? When was this? |
until Andre steps up his game im not sure we can assume he is the best WR on the field anymore |
That's what I'm thinking. Given how 2011 and 2012 have been, it could be a safe bet that Jordy Nelson is the better WR right here, right now. Yes, AJ has more potential even at this age...but given his slow down to this point, and given that Nelson is coming off of a season that is very comparable to some of AJs best seasons...well, I won't say that Nelson > AJ, but I would give the OVERALL strength of the WR unit to the Packers. _________________

I got a bad feeling about this game. I think we're about to get rolled up and embarrassed.
31-13 Pack.
To expound upon that:
- I think we'll come out flat and that Nick Perry is going to make Newton/Harris look silly.
- Alex Green is a better RB than Cedric Benson. He will gash us. I promise this.
- James Jones is going to add a career game to what has already been a career season for him.
- DJ Williams is going to dominate whoever he's matched up against.
- Foster will score the offense's lone TD and will put up another game of about 25 for 150. _________________ Welcome to Houston, DeAndre Hopkins!

I'm with you Kenney, and I think it might be due to play calling/special teams. If so, I believe the fans will make their BOO's loud and clear. _________________

Which will be pretty astounding, because I think we will lose the next two and be sitting at 5-2 and people are going to be calling for Kubiak's head again.
Just a gut feeling. _________________ Welcome to Houston, DeAndre Hopkins! |

Just seen the ticket prices on Stub Hub. I really want to go to the game, but 138 bucks for upper deck endzone seats is ALOT. that's like 3 times the face value. _________________

It will be interesting to see how Andre Johnson performs in a game that we aren't protecting a lead.
We have had pretty big leads in all of our games this season and have gone into protect the lead mode and it has almost caught up to us against the Broncos and Jets
This week i think we will get a more accurate gauge at where Johnson is at. Green Bay isnt the best coverage team and we wont be playing with a big lead so im expecting him to finally get his 10,000 yards, but at this rate he might not reach 12,000 in his career, and he is quickly falling behind in the best WR of his generation race _________________
