Can't wait to hear ESPN/NFL Network make a segment saying we arent a top 3 AFC team because we lost tonight.
Gotta hand it to the Packers. They were on their A game tonight. Next week is going to be even more huge especially since the Ravens are banged up on defense. _________________

| We were either gonna lose tonight or next week. This should lite a fire under us next week and give us the win. 6-1 going into the bye isnt bad. |

Im not confident for next week at ALL. The Ravens offense is more deadly because of the balanceness they bring, how we gonna stop Ray Rice when we could not stop Alex Green _________________

How many people would be upset if Braman started over Barwin? _________________

Texans are still my second favorite team. This one was a bit bittersweet. _________________

People need to calm their thoughts. We lost, so what, no one was going to go 19-0. It probably won't ever happen.
We lost to a good football team who played their best game of the year. Their defense mitigated the loss of Raji. Ours didn't.
Rodgers played one of the best games of his career. When he is on like that, no one is going to beat the Packers. Easy as that. Not to mention we gave them 3 extra chances. What should have been 3 points ended up being 21. You can't give any team 18 points and expect to win in this league. |

The 5 teams before found our weaknesses, and Green Bay exploited them. Simple as that.
Time to get back to the chalk board and fix some things before next week. _________________

also the passes rodgers were making were amazing. simple as that. Our guys had such good coverage and he would make the perfect pass. Also Watt cant be the only guy sacking the QB. Barwin wants a big pay day he needs to start making sacks he missed 2 tonight. All of big plays also happened on plays that were broken down because of really good coverage and then there was no pass rush so Rodgers had all the time in the world to hit an open guy. _________________

Exactly. For the guy the who said the Ravens offense is more dangerous. It just isn't. When Rodgers is on his game he is simply unstoppable. He was for more of last year.
I had a feeling the Packers would do better against the run without Raji. I truly believe that Raji has been highly overrated over the last two years. He had an outstanding Haloti Ngata like year in 2010 but just hasn't been that good. Ryan Pickett is much better against the run than Raji. He just doesn't offer any of Raji's pass rush.
Don't sweat it guys. You just had the misfortune of playing an Aaron Rodgers led team with its back against the wall. That guy just isn't going to let his team lose with the season on the line. |

I think we just ran into the Packers at the wrong time. They had no choice but to win, and when you have the reigning MVP in a must-win situation, most of the time the MVP wins.
I expect us to bounce back next week. Reports are that Webb is out for the season and Ngata is injured as well. Not the way I want to win, but it's how it is. _________________

But can any other team follow that blueprint. Offensively, the only other one I can think of is the Pats. They were killing us on the run on nickle formations by running at Quin. And then they were beating us over the air by spreading us out and making great throws / running great routes against man coverage.
Defensively, they ate up the run and got some pressure by blowing up our o-line. Not having Raji might have helped since they went to a faster lineup which negates the strength of the ZBS. Most of the pressure seemed to be coming from the inside where our guards had a poor game. It wasn't until the end of the game that they finally stopped the pass when the score forced us to be one-dimensional.
The sky is not falling but certain things need to be improved on. On defense, our OLBs need to provide pressure which we already knew. We got burned by Rodgers in part because we got no pressure on him unless we blitzed more than 4. On offense our guards need to do a better job of identifying rushers. There were too many unblocked guys coming from the middle. The running game laid an egg but I don't imagine this will be the norm. _________________
