I would say that it's a combination of his (bad) games from the start of the season, and his very average game against the Rams. |
Well PFF has him as their top per play pass protector in the league so they must ding him pretty tough for penalties or the Rams game. _________________

Too bad, on to the SB without him. |
Don't bother dreaming over that because it wouldn't really be a big deal to tell you the truth. The highest praise you'd hear from Eagles fans would be that Mathis was acceptable this year, guarantee none of them would even consider him as being the best guard especially by such a laughably wide margin. My theory is that PFF "found" Mathis, and now they're pimping him out like crazy to show how they discovered his talent when they ranted and raved about him last year. Mathis is very consistent, but his lack of pure athletic ability holds him back from ever being even a top 5 guard IMO. He's smart and savy in the run game and knows how to get the job done, but he can often get beat in pass protection. _________________

Does Evan Mathis have shares in PFF? I quite like him as a Guard – but I’m pretty sure I’ve seen him get beat a fair few times this year and really cannot understand what he’s done to get such a pimping on this site. _________________

This is the opposite of Mathis. _________________

I'm incredibly worried that within the coming years one of these guys(PFF "Writers") is going to actually get AP votes for the All-Pro team and AP Awards. _________________

He is MUCH worst than that. | 2 of the best Interior linemen and out ends sucked bad.

Right, hopefully we can get a decent end whether it be through F/a or draft..or off the streets, I think anything would be an improvement. _________________
