^ Nice choice. Byrd accumulated 40 interceptions for 666 yards and 5 touchdowns in his seven seasons as a Bill... all numbers are still good for first in franchise history. Byrd was also a solid punt returner. He was AFL All-Star five times and was named to the AFL's All-Time second team. He was inducted into the Greater Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame. I have no idea why he isn't on the WOF yet. _________________

Not sure how Cookie got a vote. He only played 3 seasons here and the seasons weren't even that great. _________________

Only three seasons, but I would say they were pretty great. He led the league in rushing in two of those seasons and led the league in touchdowns in all three. He was first or second team All-Pro all three years. 16 carries for 122 yards in the 1964 Championship game. Member of the Bills 25th Anniversary Team. Member of the Greater Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame. _________________

For me personally, it is hard to rank the guys i have not seen personally play, like a lot of the older guys. The best I can do is look at the stat box and accomplishments but even with some guys like Cookie, I take into account that he only played 3 years with the Bills. _________________
