Kuhn has hammy issue also and doesn't look like he'll play this week.....
Starks has been out all week sick and was limited, but should be a go to take Kuhn's place as the 3rd down back....
Nelson will be a gametime decision...... |

Newhouse has been playing at a lower level and he'll have to outperform what he has been doing if we're going to keep Rodgers upright.

Crap, we gotta protect the Franchise's blindside. I am thinking LT early in the draft next year, or we spend some money in FA. _________________

F-me... So disheartening on the Sherrod news. One can only dream of having a beast LT in pass pro. Newhouse gets beat like a drum most games. How long do we go with "that" guy at LT? Newhouse is the best candidate to get Rodgers onto IR |

According to Wilde, Newhouse was way better than Sherrod last year at TC. Newhouse was the only one to win his one on one battles against Matthews. Newhouse was the only one not to get beat by Clay. (this was last year btw)
Haven't heard too much encouraging about Sherrod today and what kind of came out. It almost sounded like a wasted first round pick though too early to give up on him. Maybe he wins the job next year..... |

He was playing pretty good ball right before he got hurt last year.
Kid was a rook last year too, gotta remember.
Edit: He was probably much better than Sherrod in camp due to the fact there was no camp last year. _________________

Crappy news, but we're in a better position than some teams with our LT situation going forward. We could be better off, but Newhouse will have to do for now. I don't see how LT is a pressing need for us next April even at this point. _________________

I think they just screwed around with him at G and most people remember how bad Sherrod looked there. Sherrod was looking much better when they accepted the fact he was a T.

Sherrod on the IR sucks. Had big time hopes for him this season. Don't know if MM would have played him anyway but with the way Marshall's been playing thus far it makes you wonder...
I think he'll be a full go for next year and I have confidence in him. Don't see any reason to spend a first on a LT unless an elite one falls. _________________

Newhouse top 5 pass blocker apparently. Obviously he's not but is he really that bad ? |
Their rankings don't capture the reason he's not very well liked.
Some plays he does very well. But if a play starts out poorly for him, he gives up. His blocker will get by him, Rodgers makes him miss, then Newhouse never goes back to him. I think this happened on at least two of Clemons' sacks and I've noticed it on other plays this season. _________________
