Wow, was expecting A LOT more. A few games missed, more than a $21,000 fine...for as much as I am going on about Joe Mays, I would say this deserves a much worse punishment.
Not nearly enough taken from this hit.

Roger Goodell has always been inconsistent in its decisions
I'm not surprised and I would have agreed if Mundy would have been suspended, but Goodell is very inconsistent

I admittedly didnt see Mays hit, but Mundy's was not malicious at all. It was just horrible form trying to make a big hit. And believe me, I have no love for Mundy at all.
Was Mays ever fined for helmet to helmet before?

If you want to see it, go to the Mays thread and scroll down a bit.
I think Mays has gotten a roughing the passer before, not sure if it was a helmet-to-helmet.
