Very unfortunate, like jrry said, Stew gave him a lick and a half and I don't think Williams was expecting it at all _________________

Both teams played an extremely physical game.
Sucks that injuries hurt both sides.. _________________

He's got fumblitis though. Reports out of camp were ugly, he couldn't hold on to anything. |
If he has fumble problem Arizona most likely wont go after him. that like main thing to be a Arizona RB. |
That was a big knock on Slaton as well; Guy couldn't hang onto the ball consistently. However, it isn't exactly a buyers' market out there... _________________

MJD could instantly make the Cards a Championship contender.. Solid defense, good Receivers, Running Game.... If the line could just hold up and Kolb just above average than they are good |

I remember the kid being hyped up during training camp and the pre-season, sad to see his season end like this (especially for a player who missed his entire rookie year due to injury).
The Cardinals offensive line is so horrid that no one can really succeed as a Running back there right now. I believe both Ryan Williams & Beanie Wells have less than a 3.0 YPC this year. For that reason, I don't think the Cardinals will trade for a RB. Its more likely they'll just pick up a free agent. Hightower is probably the best fit, if healthy. Else, maybe a guy like Joesph Addai, who is a good pass protector would be the best bet. _________________ With much cheese,

There's no way we'd get him for that, I doubt he's even available but hypothetically speaking, I'd pull the trigger in a heartbeat. _________________

He has 2 good years left IMO. You obviously know RB's shelf life is short. Look at S-Jax.
Jags are going nowhere with MJD. Last in offense last season and through five games our offense is the worst in league. I'll take a 3rd round pick for MJD easily.
If MJD was available, Cards need to pounce on him. _________________

Tough break, outside of Fitzgerald and Roberts the Cards dont have much to rely on offensively. I dont trust Kolb holding up behind that Oline. |

I'm pretty devastated for Ryan. He's such a great kid, to have this happen two years in a row is pretty sickening HOWEVER, the on-field affects of this are being completely overblown. Williams did next to nothing for us on the field. 2-something a carry, about a half dozen catches, 0 TDs, 2 crucial lost fumbles that could have and likely should have cost us 2 wins. I think Williams is talented enough to have kicked it in gear going forward but in terms of what we're losing with this injury from the first 5 weeks of the year, the answer is truly....nothing. _________________

Who is going to be starting this week? Howling didn't play last week and he would be the starter if healthy right? _________________
