So a lot of us are assume we're going to go somewhere around 8-8 and clean house. So who in your opinion should we be getting rid of in the best and worst case scenario? (Worst = No playoff run, Best = SB win) And I need to cut my toenails so i'm not really going to list who we should get rid of. And I wasn't really sure where to post this so I just made a thread. _________________

Short list of players that have no business being on our team when we get real schemes.
Evan Mathis
Danny Watkins
jason Kelce
All back up OL
Jason Babin
Michael Vick
That should do. _________________

depends on the scheme. lets say Mudd leaves then everyone but Peters and Todd goes and if washburn goes then Babin isn't useful. Obviously Vick would be cut according to that new report. I feel that Chaney would also be on the list. _________________

Kelce should be OK. He is the Jeff Saturday of his generation.
Did you notice how the line was terrible after he got injured?
In fact, the whole interior has been bad.
He covered up a lot of mistakes for Watkins and Mathis.
Reynolds is soooo bad.
Seriously, I am better and my best move is to juicy fart on the guy.
At least it gives him pause.
The whole wide-9 is a gimmick.
Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't.
Washburn might be the first guy on this list.
I remember another guy who ran a non-traditional defense that was thought to be revolutionary, but was solved by (a) better coach(es).
(See page 46D)
Vick is like a cigar.
Either you smoke them or you don't.
It is a great pleasure or just a bunch of stinky, burning weeds.
He has his strengths. He has his limitations.
Whether or not the Eagles can play the game within the scope of the talent they have remains to be seen.
But, that only means a regime change and you must wait until, the end of this season.
So.....nothing changes.....as of yet.
By the way, this is only the 6th game.
The Eagles are 3-3. It is far from over.
They were 2-3 in 2003 and went 12-4.
Don't get your panties in a bind.
Life is short, but not that short. |

Dingo is now deemed the king of the one liners. I love the way you post.
I think Patterson has a decent shot to get the axe. One or both of Peters and Bell will not be back. Vick is 50-50 as of today.
Speaking of how big a loss Kelce was, did anyone notice how bad our D looked today after Allen was injured and Anderson stepped in? We need real safety depth, along with O-line depth. _________________

We need O-line starters and Safety starters before we even begin to ask for depth though. |

With a fully healthy line, I think they look much better.
And true about safety. KC's limitations have been well documented. _________________

I read somewhere Nnamdi may be cut unless he takes a big pay cut. _________________

I'm not sure, if we had a strong trio then maybe, but at this point our starters at corner are pretty much indispensable. We don't have a back-up plan on the roster. Certainly not Curtis Marsh. _________________

| No way Nnamdi gets cut, I don't even like any of our CBs outside of Nnamdi/DRC so we better not. |

Boykins is a very impressive rookie. _________________

*Boykin
And not really. Idk why people have been impressed with him, I've watched him get beat on the inside and on the outside. He's really only been semi impressive on kick returns, but he's undersized and hasn't impressed me really at all at the CB spot. |

First, thank you.
Second, it is not that the Eagles don't have depth at safety.
They do.
They just don't have starters. |
