I'm still going to complain. We could have pulled a better class.

very hard to complain after jumping from 31 after we lost Blades to where we're at now (10 overall).

Complacency is weakness.

Imagine if we knew two weeks ago. Might have made a difference.

Meh, possibly, but outside of Herbert, we really missed on nobody that was thought to be coming here. So the lack of coaches didn't really hurt us.

I'm still skeptical on Mac, but there's nothing to be negative about today. He managed to pull both Henderson and Edwards away from UM and somehow convinced administration to take Robinson. He knocked it out of the park in the last 24-48 hours.

But what players did we grab who were expected to go elsewhere?

Might we have been able to poach someone unexpected with the right hire?

That's kind of the point of those sort of hires. Plus, you don't end up with Greg Nord "supervising" the recruits at a basketball game. Wink

Sounds like Seider is going to be hired as the new RB coach, with Skipper moving over to coach LB's.

And we've had too much good news over the past week....Torrian Gray hired by the Redskins to be their DB coach.

We replaced him with USF DB coach Corey Bell (who has a history with Shannon). Plus, we hired our OL coach, Brad Davis from North Texas. Both have vast ties to Florida, as both have been former HS head coaches.

That really sucks. Seems like Bell can recruit, but it's unclear how good he is at developing players. That's too bad. Torrian Gray was amazing at it.
