We're still a good team. It'll be a tough fight to make the playoffs with the competition in the NFC, but we'll be in the fight to the end. But i'd be lying if i wasn't concerned with our passing game. Same with our depth at DL+OLB, where our starters got worn out with continuous running and we had no backups to plug in there.

Yes. This is exactly what I've been trying to preach. We have the luxury of having a talented staff as well as roster. Talented enough that it's pretty much assumed we make the playoffs.
If anything, this one loss eliminates another gameplan we use against the Giants.

Yeah but people were saying this after the Vikings loss. I really hope this season doesn't end up bad.

I'm not ready to put an end to our SB run, but I'd be lying if I didn't say last week really worried me. My biggest worry was how much our coaching staff panicked when things weren't working. I expected Harbaugh and co to be more prepared than that.

The Lions went 10-6 last year without beating a winning team. So far, we're on pace to do the same.

Well, I'll they bet they came out of halftime with a plan. Then the Giants scored right away. THEN, Alex Smith threw 2 drives away with interceptions. Out the window goes that plan. |

They thing is they panicked way too early. We were down by a few scores in the 3rd, and they just started throwing everything out there.
