Oregon from the second the player is tackled they get the snap off in about 10 seconds. That way we wont face the blitz it will be your standard 4 man rush and let Gabbert pick them apart.

I completely agree that seeing an uptempo no-huddle offense as a regular wrinkle would be great...but i don't really think we have the O-line protection or the weapons to really make it work in the NFL. I'm as much a fan of that sort of offense as anyone, and it can work in certain scenarios...but when you're talking about NFL defenses rather than NCAA defenses, the adjustment is going to be much quicker and much more effective. Try to do that more than a few times here and there, and our O-Line is going to be huffing and puffing, our QB is going to be stressed, defenses are going to be out for blood, and our WRs are going to end up with even more mistakes than usual. Our receiving corps hasn't even demonstrated they can effectively operate in a standard scenario...lol if they can operate smoothly from an uptempo no-huddle right now.

I'm not sure what your point is, other than bad + good = average. but it doesn't work like that, each season is its own. They were good last year, and bad this year. these two outcomes do not mean we're a mediocre defense, it means that right now, they're bad.

why is that so? who knows, probably ducks.

i was fine with Branch, I wanted claiborne. said it before and that will always be my opinion

I was good with both selections and feel like both still have a good shot of contributing well for us. I wanted Curry over Branch though.
