Washington's third-down conversion percentage is only 23.3% (14 of 60), worst in the NFL. The Vikings have allowed opponents to convert 44.7 percent of third downs.

| Id like to see a playaction Ponder roll to the right throw back to Percy who ran a crossing route left. Brees/Colston do this frequenty. |

| That is mind bogging that we are that bad at stopping on 3rd down yet 7th in yards allowed. Points is more understandable since we seem to tighten up a bit at the redzone. |

WASH's new kicker, Kai Forbath of UCLA, went undrafted in 2011, spent a pre-season with the Bucs, and has never played in a regular NFL game.
no pressure, dude. _________________

and... it turns out Forbath didn't kick off in his college games.
now he faces kicking to Percy and leading the kickoffs for a squad that hasn't played with him yet.
go Percy, go.
but then, if we play really well, he won't be kicking off much at all anyway... _________________

Still tied with Chicago for the NFC North. Another must win game!
I love this season. Lets keep on rollin teams!!! |
Actually we are in sole posession of first place. The Bears have a loss in the division (to the Packers) and we haven't lost any division games, so I'm pretty sure that makes us the division leaders. |
Yeah, this is true.
But hell, I don't want to be tied with the opposition. I wanna see us crush em'.
So with that, lets take a 2 game lead on da burrrrrrrsssss.

We don't have a one game lead right now, we are tied but currently hold the tie breaker. If we win today, we will hold a half game lead. (I think) |

I hope the Vikings lose because the Redskins need this win....but best of luck all the same. Unfortunately, I do not have this game, but every other 4PM game. _________________

The Seahawks are the same way. They are the #1 defense, but I believe they are 20th for 3rd down conversion percentage against. _________________

BTW
| Quote: | @JayGlazer:
Redskins are facing a HEFTY fine from the NFL for handing of RG3 injury when they said last week he was "shaken up." NFL want teams to immediately acknowledge a head injury to prevent concussed players from getting pushed back on field. |

Not that odd. We only give up short throws and runs. The other team, if they're methodical, will convert a few 3rd downs, but they won't generally won't get a lot of bulk yardage, because we don't give up many (if any) big plays.
When I'm watching the Vikes, it seems like the D is in a 3rd down a lot during drives. They'll give up a few, but maybe only 20 or 30 yards in total before they make a stop. _________________
