I think we can still win 4-5.
Winning 7 is a bit of a stretch as I don't see us beating Baltimore. I do think we'll beat Cincy and Pitt at least once.
Games I think we win: Bengals, Chargers, Chiefs, Steelers (all home games) _________________

Sure that will work, since firing a coach mid season has worked out so well for every other team that has ever done it.
The coaching is fine. Its player execution and lack of development (and depth) that is the problem. _________________ 2013 First Ballot Recipient of the Joe Blackburn Award |

I agree with the OP. After seeing these first 5 games, I have no reason to believe we can't win EVERY game we play. Of course thinking we'd win them all is ridiculous and I'm not saying that. I'm just saying we're playing these teams extremely close and eventually we're going to get on the right track to learn to close them out
I look at the remaining schedule, and none of those teams scare me like they did prior to the season starting. Teams I thought would be good aren't playing great, and the Browns are playing a lot better overall than I expected. Cut the turnovers, run the ball a little bit more and play better defensively (Haden should help this) and there is no reason to believe we can't win a good chunk of our remaining games
I know the mentality with this fan base is to give up, but this team isn't nearly as bad as the record indicates and eventually we're going to turn these close games into wins and it's going to have a snow ball effect in the positive direction |

Taylor and Haden will be huge for this D but it won't matter if they are dead tired because they're on the field 80% of the time. Have Childress call the plays like he did Minn with AP and Favre not saying TR and Weeden are on that level yet but both have similar styles elite RB with a Gunslinger at QB. Benji to me can be better then Harven imo ill probably be ripped apart for saying that but Benji has break away speed. Gordon is coming along. And mass is producing. Get Jordan involved more he had that sick catch yesterday even tho it was illegal forward pass the man get jump threw the roof. _________________

Haden is going to be a big boost. More or less we've been sorta in every game we've lost this year.
The Negative Nellie in me says we won't win 7 games though.
Sorry but its the truth. _________________

Okay fair enough. Kepp in my this is based off of projection of our improvment. Our O-line blew me away today and to me with the returns of Haden and Taylor I can see wins against.
Week 6 Cincy
Week 7 Indy-possible
Week 9 Balt-possible
Week 11 Dallas
Week12-Pitt-possible they don't scare me like they have in the past and with injuries and the fact we are playing at home.
Week 13 Oakland
Week 14 KC
Week 15 Skins
In all fairness we could lose all these too but I like what we are doing. We need to get some of these guys back healthy. |
These are the only two I think we could possibly win. |
Exactly, I have a hard time seeing us win more than 2 games. I could see us winning KC and Oakland. We will be lucky to win any of the other games, IMO. _________________

That may be the largest stretch I have ever seen on the forums. After going 0-5, I do not see any possible way we win more than 2-3 games the rest of the way.
You can argue we get Haden and a couple other players back, but at the same time, some other guys will likely get hurt. _________________

I think 7 wins is pretty realistic. Theres no doubt in my mind that Haden is our teams most valuable player. Our defense is so much better with him out there. _________________

Ladarius Webb and Ray Lewis might be done for the year. Ngata is hurt too. _________________

So we lose 11 in a row, then win one, and now we are about to roll the rest of the league on route to 7 wins. Love the optimism.
I do know this though. The 2012 browns would beat the 2011 browns 7-8 out of 10 times _________________ NEW 2011 draft prediction.

I agree. Everyone thinkings I'm crazy, and they should, but I can still see us winning eight games. I believe we are going to sweep the Steelers. _________________ RIP Crakburn, B2TB, Sean Taylor and Chris Henry

| Just because you can picture this team winning 7 games doesn't make it realistic or very likely. |
