Another senseless death in the NFL>
It seriously has a major issue with DUI. This is getting dumb. |
The NFL or general public? |
Both honestly. _________________

Its all about bars and clubs. If they weren't around 95% of DUI wouldn't happen. I know that they will always be around, but they need to figure out some way to not let people drive after they have to much. They can't just leave it up to peoples judgments. _________________

I disagree. Alcohol isn't limited to bars and clubs. It's available almost everywhere and forms a major part of recreational and leisure activities in North America.
It's interesting that's it's acceptance in venues has spread in lock step with societies growing disdain for impaired driving.
Years ago it wasn't available in theatres and sporting events yet impaired driving was only a misdemeanour offence.
The reality is that alcohol is a part of our society and alcohol related death is not going to disappear.
I don't feel bars and clubs should take responsibility for their patrons that's just allowing people to avoid personal responsibility for their actions.
What does need to be improved is ensuring establishments serving alcohol do so in accordance with the law. Unfortunately serving alcohol in accordance with the law is a quick trip to bankruptcy for most. _________________

Adrian Peterson is having one of greatest seasons ever for a RB very quietly.
For him to put up these numbers with ZERO talent at QB is insane. _________________

Jon Heyman of CBS Sports reports that the | Quote: | | Dodgers and free agent right-hander Zack Greinke have reached agreement on a six-year, $147 million contract. It's only pending a physical. The $24.5 million average annual value of Greinke's new deal is the richest any pitcher has ever received. The Dodgers' 2013 payroll now sits over $225 million, making it the highest in MLB history. Greinke will slot in as the No. 2 starter in Los Angeles, behind staff ace Clayton Kerhsaw |

Yeah way to much for Shields. The Royals were one of the most promising teams a few years ago, and now they are right back to being one of the worst teams. _________________

Thats why teams who win do not over value their prospects. A couple years ago Moustakas, Hosmer, and others would have brought them some legit young studs. Instead they try to bring them all along and they all turn out average. It sucks when your young guys aren't what they are supposed to be and is why Dombrowski is quick to move guys like Maybin, Miller, and Turner when it looks like they might not be what they are supposed to be. _________________

This is why I had zero issue moving Castellanos and Garcia just not in same deal. _________________
