I hate using solely one or the other. To say Miggy didn't deserve would be ludacris, but the same can be said for Trout. Saber stats have flaws just as stats like RBI and avg. do. But they both have important factors and can both be a measuring tool compared to others.

I hate how they say Cabby hits into more Double plays then Trout!
Really lol , okay one leads off the game with no chance to hit into a double play the other guy bats 3rd and odds are will have way more chances to do that feat just using the 1st inning for 180 some games!
I think its a stupid argument double plays really!!

I think if they care do much about double plays, they shouldnt ignore ground ball percent. I don't know who is better with ground balls, but it seems silly to ignore it.

Voters prove yet again that they are unable to enter the 21st century. I hope soon people realize BA and RBI are not the best way to prove an individual player's worth. |
Well then I would suggest leaving fantasy for the real world to realize a players worth.
There was no doubt in my mind who would/should win it this year. There was an argument to be had until the last month of the season when Trout disappeared and Cabby picked up the Tigers and carried them into the playoffs.
