Good for him but don't think he was the right choice.
But I think these 2 Cy young votes pretty much guarantee Miggy as the MVP. Voters still very much traditionalists it seems. Wins seem to have been the deciding factor tonight unfortunately.

97.1 is reporting the Tigers are interested in adding Ross as well as Hunter. Guess they're not sold on Dirks or Garcia.

Garcia needs more time in the minors were he can play everyday. Dirks I am assuming they will just platoon. However I don't really want anything to do with Ross. I don't think he is an upgrade to Dirks.

Dirks played a lot this year and was very consistent. He's not a great defender, but I wouldn't really call him a liability either. I don't see why he shouldn't get a shot to play 120 games or so and platoon with Berry or someone.

Dirks can't platoon with Berry since both are lefties. Leyland and DD have both said multiple times that they don't see Dirks as a regular. I think he could be, but Andy needs to prove that he is now.

Most fans agree that Dirks proved it to them. Dirks is a gamer and I love his hustle and attitude that he brings every day. I hope he repeats his 2012.
