My issue with Jon Gruden would be his history with Qbs. He has a history of trying very average QBs I suppose thinking he's good enough to coach them up. My fear is he'd think he could make Cassel or even Quinn good enough.

And how about David Shaw as OC?
He's dream is at Stanford. I doubt he'd leave the HC of his alma mater to be OC somewhere.

Cassel is a coach deal breaker, He has to go for us to get a good coach period.

Exactly my point Val. Quinn and Cassel both won't be in a Chiefs uniform next year. The only reason why Quinn is still playing is because if we go with Stanzi we will most likely end up going 1-15 therefore cementing the firing of everyone. Quinn gives us that 1% chance of winning, and until that hits 0 he's our guy unfortunately. (This is ultimately why it matters about firing coaches mid season)

Jack Del Rio?

No success in Jax with limited talent. Interesting option when you consider his experience and how well Denver's defense is playing.

Sounds to much like Crennel for my liking...

Not sure where to put this, put check out the Romeo Crennell approval poll from Arrowhead Pride:

Embarassing. Hopefully we get blown out tommorrow, I'm going to the game, but I just want Crennel and Pioli to both be fired ASAP.

It just occured to me sitting on the toilet why Romeo has been so set in his ways on defense, refusing to change the principles of his FB system. He practices against our offense, the perfect team to use it against...stop the run, make the QB beat you. Bend but don't break...our team couldn't score a TD in the RZ against Baylor.

Then he can't understand why it doesn't work as well in real games, basically just blaming it on the players. Rolling Eyes
