Is it just me. Or are these texans just so damn complete.
From defense they are good as anyone. The passing game has the ability to win shootouts and score at will. And the running game is just so damn efficent. Never seen a team who has the potential to be top 5 in every aspect of the game.
Over the years we seen elite teams with 1 or 2 of these traits. But this is the first time iam seeing all 3.
Last team i can remm who was great at defense, pass, run was the 2004 patriots and they didnt have a elite Wr like johnson. |

It's not just you. They are the most complete team in the NFL. They have been my Super Bowl pick since before the offseason. They are going to absolutely demolish the Jets on Monday. _________________

They're up there. I'd probably put the 2006 Chargers ahead of them. 2009 Vikings are up there but I'd give the edge there to the Texans. _________________

2009 Vikings. But this Texans team is in the conversation, too (edge to the '09 Vikings, though). _________________

Negative, Vikings didn't have close to a defense that the Texans have. _________________

| Texans are clearly the best and most complete team in the league, though I am still slightly concerned about its WR situation outside of Andre Johnson. Nevertheless, they can matchup with anyone and play any kind of game they want. |

You're right. And the Texans don't have close to the offense the Vikings did. _________________

umm i would take the texans offense over 09 vikes anyday
they are avg more points per game than 09 vikes.
Not to mention they have better coaching.
Houston currently has #1defense and #2 offense |

What tremendous points! You do realize that the Texans' offensive stats are 4 games' worth, while the '09 Vikings' are 16 games' worth, yes? And the Vikings' offense was #2 in the NFL that year. _________________

Brett Favre was so on fire that year and we had Sidney Rice and he was actually good then. _________________

Foster+Ben Tate=Adrian peterson
Andre Johnson > Sidney Rice
Matt Schuab < Brett Favre
Texans O line > Vikings O line
I dont see how it was that much better, their very close in fact based off talent evaluation. _________________

What a meaningless way to make a comparison.
Have you ever heard of this particular concept: "The whole is greater than the sum of its parts?" _________________
