Trent Richardson is going to be a very good player for a very long time. He has the ideal build with that low center of gravity, and his skills make him look like a 3-4 year vet. I have not seen his pass blocking ability, but I would imagine that he will excel there as well. _________________

I can only wish that the Vikings can develop a receiving corps like the Giants. _________________

What a hit by Nick Perry. The horrible officiating continues. _________________

Matt Cassel is so bad. It's hard to watch the Chiefs' passing offense. At least Charles is exciting. _________________

If anyone complains about our conservative offense, at least we aren't the Chiefs. _________________

I just saw a dolphins clip on Red Zone and was thinking about how good the Hawaii Warriors passing attach was in 2005-2008 with Davone Bess, Jason Rivers, and Ryan Grice-Mullen. I thought Grice-Mullen would have been more effective in the league given the similarities between him and Bess. _________________

Rashard Mendenhall has 6 rushes for 42 yards and a touchdown in his first game back. I think it's fair to say that with the way Adrian, Jamaal Charles and Mendenhall have played, that an ACL tear isn't a long term injury for a running back any more. _________________

The replacements threw more flags than the real refs, according to the NFL RedZone guy _________________

After next week, we'll see who's thrown more flags. The replacements threw many more flags on procedural errors, but when it came to penalties during the play, these regular refs call the smallest things. _________________
