Ugh. Is that honestly taught in training? To just not call stuff on hail marys? _________________

I'm sure they taught it, but more of a jostling for position type PI. Not an I'm going to shove you to the ground PI. _________________

Just saw this story on nfl.com. Kudos to you McCarthy. So much good press for him and the Packers organization because of all this attention on us. _________________

McCarthy is nothing but classy. Wouldn't choose anybody else to lead my football team then the combo of TT in the FO and Mike as our HC. _________________

I'm sure to an extent the NFL says something like that, but I think it was obviously misinterpreted. They probably tell their refs not to call it unless it's overly blatant. _________________

On Showtime's 'Inside the NFL' show when they interviewed those 2 replacement refs Elliott did admit after looking at replays and later LEARNING THE RULE he would have ruled it an interception and not a TD. The 2 Rent-a-Refs said all of them were learning the rules as they went along. Good lord! I still get rather peeved when I think the league thought these inadequate officials could call a professional football game and nobody would get seriously screwed like we did. |

The only other guy I might trade with McCarthy is Mike Tomlin- the two classiest HC's in the NFL. _________________

You stay classy Green Bay.
I wish there was a way to stress how Mac says it in his accent. "Hi, I'm Mike McCarthy, and I coach football up here in GREEN bay." _________________
