Yea because he plays with a stellar lineup |
There were men on base for nearly half of Cabrera's PAs this season. That's insane. |
174 of his 620 there were RISP. _________________

Green is right though this accomplishment is based on who hits in front of him as well. _________________

Not as much as most of you are trying to overstate.
In fact with Fielder hitting 30 HR and driving in 108 runs that took away a good chunk of RBI chances as well for Miggy. _________________

Cabrera is still hitting .340 with men on base and .356 with men in scoring position. Each of those rank 5th in the MLB. That is very impressive. _________________

It is what it is. All this sabermetric crap and newer generation thinking has crushed the real significance of the Triple Crown.
Oh well.
Us older folk can enjoy watching history. _________________

So yea jacked that up in my haste because tired of everyone discrediting him.
Imagine if Fielder and his 88 BBs got on in front of Cabrera. _________________

Congrats on a phenomenal and very rare accomplishment. Truly ridiculous for anyone to downplay what he did. He made history that so few of the greatest players of the game never came close to accomplishing. _________________

Comerica isn't a pitchers park, its a neutral park. It depresses HR's a little but its a good run scoring park. _________________

Yea already been addressed. I was just typing and doing class work at same time and totally jacked that up.
Think couple times Miggy hit 4 but very few.
Still those 88 BBs in front of Miggy that Fielder had would have only enhance those #s _________________
