Honestly, as poor as Seymour and Kelly are playing, I bench them both in favor of Bryant and Bilukidi. See what you have for next year. |
What's the deal with Bilukidi? I didn't see him do much aside from a few tackles in 2nd half of the last preseason game. Hamilton played very well and didn't get PS. He's with Washington now. |
That was to be expected. He was a raw prospect. |
Then why add him to the roster? Ditto for Crawford. |
You serious? Because they are young players with some room to grow. Both were developmental and flashed in preseason. You want to cut them and let someone else add them to their rosters? |
What did they flash exactly? That's really what I wanna know. Guys like Hamilton and Kilgore flashed more in preseason but bit the bullet because they weren't draft picks. Stupar is the one exception but he did nothing until the last preseason game.
The practice squad is usually where developmental guys go. They don't sit on the bench and not contribute. _________________

Really? Did you watch preseason? Kidi was a consistent plug in the middle. Sound tackler. Crawford racked up 2 sacks and was getting consistent pressure.
Kilgore? What did he do? Hamilton was upstaged by Bilukidi inside. _________________

He had like 4 tackles late in the 3rd-4th quarter vs Seattle. Hamilton had a sack in the 1st game and brought a lot of pressure up the middle.
Crawford had 0 sacks in preseason. Kilgore was a solid Special Teams player and good vs the run. _________________

My bad, I was thinking of something else with Crawford. He had that foot injury and didn't play until week 3. But he was recognized for his motor and pushing the pocket.
Kilgore..... did he even make a PS?
I think end of the day, the coaches are around these player day in and out. They know who is doing what and select these players accordingly. Bilukidi and Crawford were both developmental players. They both by all accounts had great TC's, practice hard, etc. So you stick with them and see what comes up. _________________
