Greg Knapps playcalling hasn't really been bad. Players haven't picked up the system yet and lots of other crap has lead to our team sucking _________________

He's an idiot. Jim Haslett, Dom Capers, and Gregg Williams all seem to be from the same school of being fancy for the sake of being fancy with their blitzes and blitzing irregardless of talent on the team and whether they can actually handle particular coverage matchups. When it fails, rush three. With that said, Haslett may actually be worse than Capers come to think of it(hard to say given Haslett doesn't have the same level of talent). Gregg is worse than any of them but he's out of the league thankfully. _________________ Stop slobbering over Brian Dawkins |

It's funny how no one is ever a homer with coordinators. Fans just love to trash their coaches because it's an easy fix - we get rid of this guy and our problems will go away! They don't want to hear that the players just aren't good enough.
Let's just say this one hits close to home. _________________

If Kubiak or even Dennison were still with the Broncos I would be. _________________ Stop slobbering over Brian Dawkins |

Tice has done a pretty good job this far, I don't think I've seen anybody really complaining about him, and Rod Marinelli is one of the most beloved sports figures in town these days. We complained about Martz for good reason. _________________

| Marty Morhinweg isn't amazing. He and Reid put together good gameplans, but they are pretty bad at adjusting. |

Brian has been amazing.. Minus the Bears game! I have been extremely pleased. Not to mention that we have had 3 td's called back on us. He tailors around Sam, but I mean he finally has a talented QB _________________

I don't think any Panther fan thinks Chudzinski is a bad offensive coordinator nor should they. He's fantastic. It is just at times he'll go runs where he refuses to establish the run game. Otherwise, when he does, I think he's been great in Cam's development.
To be flat out honest, I'm not completely sure if McDermott is a bad DC either. He very well could be but I've seen countless times our players in position to make plays this season but them simply not executing (defense can't tackle worth a crap and Nakamura proved that even if he is in position, he can't cover worth a crap). Beason's been a shoddy tackler this year. |

Also, the Seahawks problem with Gus Bradley is his necessity to play soft zone on 3rd Downs (which is helping to inflate our 3rd down issues)
He is stil a young co-ordinator. _________________

Both have had runs where they looked solid. Hunter wasn't bad in 2010, in 2011 he was downright awful, then looked terrible in preseason. Austin Howard has done a MUCH better job at RT than Hunter did. Hunter needed a change of scenario, he has no mental toughness.
Jets fans have not based their opinion on Schotty because of 1 QB or season, we had 6 or so years of forming a opinion on him. He has called some good games before
Its funny listening to Rams fans criticize Jets fans about Schotty and Hunter, based on only a few games. We are more than happy that they are gone and I don't think many of us felt like they were the ONLY issue with this team. |
You guys scapegoated the heck out of those 2 when in reality, they really aren't bad. Hunter is a solid role player and Schott is a solid OC.
As for Hunter's mental toughness, probably had more to do with his confidence being shot than anything. Plus the guy seems like a better LT than RT. _________________

To be fair, Wayne Hunter was terrible for the Jets. Plus isn't Jason Smith playing decently for them now? Looks like both just needed a change of scenery... |
That's probably because 73.4% of his snaps have come as a run blocker. If you listened to any Rams fan, they'd tell you that Smith was a very good run blocker. The issue with him was that he had a lot of mental lapses, penalties and technique lapses as a pass blocker and was majorly injury prone. _________________

We've had the same experience with Frank Omiyale. He was a turnstile with the Bears, but he played pretty well against Dallas (He shut down Ware for the most part), minus the stupid penalties. _________________
