In the Chargers game it look like McFadden dont have the vision to choose the right hole and the right cutback lane. There were lanes there a few times.
Steelers and Dolphins games looks like the interior was just getting blown up |

Problem is when they are smacking some body in the face they are getting smacked back even harder. _________________

I've been looking at the game tapes and focusing on the OL the last few days. All that I'm seeing is an OL that is completely scrambled. There is no unity. All you see is our guys going backwards. They are simply being physically abused almost each & every play. The fact that Palmer is holding his own & McFadden gets passed the line of scrimmage is remarkable.
Poor execution by the players is one thing, but it's evident this staff has not employed this scheme in correctly. You have to fit what the players do, not what you want to do as a coach. At least that's how I see it.
Side note: How disappointing has Brisiel been? For a guy who was supposedly solid in the ZBS scheme in Houston to come here & arguably be the worst player on the OL is sad to see. _________________

The amount of off stretch handoffs is nauseating.
Can we just line up Wiz and LG and run behind he and Veldheer like last year. _________________

Agreed. Through the first two minutes I was tired of stretch runs. Thought I was watching a 10 year old play Madden. But it is what Houston does a lot so Im not surprise. |

A big problem for the run game is that Knapp isn't giving it much of a chance to get going. The Raiders are passing way too much on 1st down. When we do run, it seems like at least half are outside run plays, which usually go for little to no yards. The Raiders offense is directionless with an OC in way over his head. _________________

In my opinion they are a joke. In the last ten years there drafts sucked. | #clueless |

From quickly looking at the Steelers and Broncos game Brandon Myers does that a lot as well. _________________

Thanks for the vid. It looks like Dmac will struggle to succeed in that scheme no matter how good the blocking gets. Cutting back isn't his game or at least it doesn't seem to come naturally to him.
I think Taiwan Jones would be more effective with the same blocking. _________________

agree. except i like the move dmac put on the steeler db on that td run. might have been the first time ive seen dmac shake a defender. he is being wasted in the zbs. _________________

That looks bad, almost like we block them into the runner every play. _________________

You're correct here. Myers is suppose to be a sound blocker, but he is missing blocks like crazy. He's been down right poor in that department.
You watch some of these guys, it looks like they are thinking way to much about their assignments. Myers really looks indecisive at times. _________________
