Today was the day when I officially washed my hands of Shurmur. It's like when I'd had enough of Couch, Frye, McCoy, and a myriad of other bums that have come through here. I could give Shurmur some measure of leeway if this was his rookie season, but it's not, so I won't.
At the end of the half in a game your behind, with the ball near mid-field and 50 seconds left on 3rd and 10, you decide to run a draw? Ok, well, maybe you were just setting up the Hail-Mary righ....oh, you were going for the kneel-down.
Then, with 4+ minutes left in the game with the ball at mid-field and down by 4, you elect to punt. Yeah, I wouldn't want to risk anything, not with a 1-5 record to protect.
I'm glad Haslam got panned by the camera so that Browns Nation could see exactly what he thought of his head coach.
