Traditionally we haven't played too well against very physical, running teams like the steelers over the past 10 years. However I'm liking how our defense will play this time around against that paper mache offensive line Pittsburgh has.
Expect it to be a very defensive oriented game, punctuated by a handful of big plays. Them getting Harrison back is not good news for Vick.
With them coming off the bye I actually think they will take this one. But we'll see. Hopefully Scrabble doesn't look like an undrafted rookie out there like last game.

Yeah I agree with the thought that were not gonna pull this one out. DaRC knight is our only corner that matches up with their wide outs. Plus they've had two weeks of prep time. Can't see the Steelers going to 1-3 unless our d line absolutely massacres every snap.

Big Ben have been great so far, but the run game haven't, maybe Mendenhall can help that.
I'm both looking forward to this game, if we win I think we're legit, if not Fire Reid

Yea, Phreak was the original mod from '04. Was a great poster during his time, and the founding father of sorts. Went on an epic drinking binge about a year after he relinquished his mod-ship and went ape crazy on the forum. Quite the scene to clean up after. Banned after that, was a sad day ha. |
He was missing for some time though because he went to prison for a bar fight.

Creation of the Eagles forum...
On the first day, Webby said "Let there be Phreak." and thus, Phreak was born, and Webby allowed Phreak to rule this land.
On the second day, Phreak created the first topic...
On the third day, Phreak created the first post...
On the fourth day, Phreak created the rules and the intro threads...
On the fifth day, Phreak created posters, including the first few inhabitants inlcuding IanLewis... who began procreating.
On the sixth day, Phreak was locked up for creating Ninjapirate.
On the seventh day, he got ridiculously drunk and lashed out at our division rivals, and was consequently banned for eternity.
And thus, the Eagles board was created. We carry on his legacy to this day.

This should be an interesting match-up to watch then, I'm guaranteeing some frustrations on offense.

Webby was actually asking for volunteers back then for Mod, I almost did it but felt like I was kind of young and didnt care. I wonder how history would be written now if I was the first mod of the forum.
