Our other receivers are going to have to step up, get some more Brian Quick out there. Get him in the game and some experience

Really is too bad but it'll give Sam a chance to work on his chemistry with other WRs. Hopefully he doesn't fall apart. Might also get Brian Quick and Chris Givens more PT.

But we need that guy to kill defenses in the middle. That was Danny.

The only guy that can do that now is Smith or Kendricks.

We hate on Kendricks but he's so good pass/run blocking...

Time for Quick to grasp the learning curve. This may be a subtle blessing or a horrid nightmare since it forces Sam to develop chemistry with other players. Sink or swim Sam (hopefully swim)

Im not happy about this by any means however if there is a silver lining which i believe there always is... Its that we find out what the other guys can do. Not trying to be biased but I believe Pettis can do a good job replacing danny.

As much I hate to see a guy get hurt - especially someone like Danny, this situation is going to force the Rams to finally rip the scab off a problem that has been around 3 years running.

Simply put Sam has GOT to develop some kind of chemistry with the rest of the WR corp. He will at times get in a rhythm with Gibson and has got something going with Givens on the deep ball. Other than that you would swear the rest of the WRs were game day walk-ons.

Gibson is going to have to step up. There can't be any more "Good Gibson/Bad Gibson" games if he is going to be the man.

This also means Pettis, Kendricks, Quick, and Givens are going to have pull their big boy pants on. I saw at least two catchable balls clank off the hands of receivers last night - and I don't mean the two Danny put on the ground.
