Whats up with Darian Stewart. I thought he was healed up but I don't remember seeing him last week. There's to much Craig Dahl going on in our secondary. Do the coaches think he's better or what? |

He missed preseason due to injury and lost his job, can't win the job if you aren't on the field. Fans overrate Stewart too, he missed a lot of tackles last year. He may be better in coverage than Dahl but tackling i am not so sure. Fisher values guys that can tackle well too. |

I agree that he is overrated but I still feel that he's a better option then Dahl. He's the weakest link on our D. I wouldn't be surprised to see Stewart today. |

Stewart played a few snaps in the Chicago game and was flagged for roughing the passer. He was active for that game cause Daniels was hurt. I don't see him starting over Dahl at this point in the season. |

The depth chart on the Rams website still has him listed as a starter. If I remember correctly Stewart was limited in the Chi game because of his own injury. I honestly didn't even know he played at all. ESPN has no stats for him yet this season. |

He isn't hurt, he hasn't been listed on any injury reports that i know of. That depth chart is wrong on ESPN. Stewart wasn't active until week 3 after Daniels got hurt. He missed all of preseason and lost out on starting position battle. |

I dont think we were overrating Stewart, he is a young SS with promise, while craig dahl is craig dahl. _________________

He wasnt playing the 1st two weeks because he was hurt, not because he was behing Matt Daniels. Not really sure what you are trying to spin here, but the guy was out there for the Chicago game and re-aggravated it.
Stewart was announced in last weeks pre-game as the Starter at Safety, and then couldnt go. You dont do that unless the guy is supposed to be your starter.
He is still the starter at FS, but he is still hurt. Hamstrings dont go away very well.

All of these websites below disagree. In fact I can't find any depth chart that shows Dahl on 1st string. And he was injured. Which is why he didn't play weeks 1 & 2, and why he has been limited weeks 3 & 4. I haven't seen him on any injury reports since week 3, which is why I was asking why he didn't start on Sunday.

Exactly. Like I said, he was even introduced in the Pre-Game introductions as the Starter at Safety.
All the Injury report tells you is who is practicing, not how well they are. Hammy's flare up at a moments notice and thats obviously what happened last week. |

I didn't know he was injured thought he had lost the job cause of preseason or Fisher didn't like him too much cause he wasn't on the injury report. Dahl is terrible in coverage as stated many times before but he tackles better than Stewart cause Stewart doesn't wrap up. I like Stewart's upside cause Dahl is definitely not the future at Safety. |
