Brandt has us taking Eric Fisher, the OT out of Central Michigan at 18.
Everything I've heard so far suggests Free will be back, so I don't know if we go OT in the 1st. If we did cut Free, I would be happy with Fisher. |
+1
They could do alot worse than Fisher. IMO _________________

I think we all know that isn't going to happen. Many of those fools kept insisting DeCastro was going in the top 10 last year. _________________

With this team having an affinity for drafting previously injured players and we want an ot. I would wait and draft Chris Faulk in the third round. _________________ A circle. The direction the Cowboys continue to travel. |

4) TJ McDonald, S
5) Jawan Jamison, RB
6) Brandon Magee, OLB
I'm liking something like that right now. _________________

Regardless, Guards always fall, unless you are a once a decade or two type tallant. It happens every year. _________________

| Mackenzie will be brought back to compete for the center position. We def. need to get a Guard in the draft. |

Warmack is my first choice in this draft.
I would love to go OL and then DL in the draft, but what would people's feelings be towards a War draft in rounds 1 and 2 - mack and ford |

Would be awesome if we found some way to address the Dline in FA. If, say, we were able to sign Henry Melton in FA, I would be ok with it. But, I would then suggest going Dline in the 3rd for sure. It would be pretty cool just to say we had two maulers on our Oline with the word "War" in their name _________________

You beat me to the punch NYFDB. I was thinking up something similar with the exact same first 2 rounds. I might tend to go to S in the 3rd instead of 4th, but I like this draft and would be very happy with it. _________________

Playmaker that would be a grandslam draft with Warmack and Warford. However we won't see Warmack. I truly believe our first rounder will be between Richardson or Floyd. Either would be perfect to play the 1 tech. That said we need to draft an instant starter at guard.
Sobering thought Playmaker....on average only 10 of the 32 first rounders drafted each year start on opening day. We need to defy the odds and have at least our first two picks start. _________________ A circle. The direction the Cowboys continue to travel. |

No, that's not what that means. It means that, no matter how well you draft, rookies can only have so much impact on their team's season, and drafting on the basis of "immediate impact" is silly fan fiction that no team actually employs. _________________

LOL .That's exactly what it means. It takes defying the odds to draft 2 immediate impact rookies.

The correct choices can mean playoffs or sitting at home....
