a few stats to keep an eye on:

1. JJ Watt needs to record 1 sack to regain the NFL lead

2. If Foster hits his yearly average he will remain in the top 5 in rushing

3. If Andre hits his yearly average, he will fall short of 10,000 yards and will remain outside of the top 20, however a monster game of 155 yards will move him into the top 10

4. Matty needs to hit his season average to stay top 10, also we have been looking towards 10,000 for Dre, but Schuab is just 1,011 yards away from 20,000 (needs 40,000 and a ring to be remembered)

5. To regain the #1 total defense in yards per game we would need to hold the JETs to 200 yards or less, to regain #1 ranking in PPG we need to hold them to 10 points or fewer

not sure we mee that one looking at the Jets averages: 284 yards and 20 PPG

As always take everything from Schefter with a thousand pounds of salt, but

Adam Schefter ‏@AdamSchefter
Texans RB Ben Tate, a limited participant in last week’s practices due to a toe injury, is unlikely to play tonight vs. Jets.

Guess we get to see what Forsetts got.

If you want to beat the Jets D, you should play your best outside runners. Even without Sione Pouha, the Jets DL is very solid. However, every linebacker not named David Harris is slow and over the hill. Nearly every big running play against the Jets this season has been to the outside. Third round pick Demario Davis might also be pretty good, but we never play him.

Not that I'd be worried anyways, but I need 10 Foster points to win my league. I'm just hoping the Texans aren't winning by 100 by half time and bench him.

Though I think I'd be okay with losing if it meant the Jets lost by 100 points.

I'm incredibly excited for tonight. Don't let me down.

Someone tweeted Arian last week, "You better get me 50 points this week"
His response, "Hold your breathe for 10 min and you get 50 points"

He should get his 10 but this team doesn't worry about stats, well maybe the defense.

It's a pretty good turn out tonight in terms of Texans fans. Someone just told me it's 25 percent Texans fans at the game wearing Texans gear!

Jets roll, 41-7. Texans get routed on national TV, Stuart Scott says something annoyingly dumb, Chris Berman innundates us with constant "WHOOP!!!" sound effects, I can't even watch the game because the wife and I will be watching Homeland On Demand (it's a pretty boss show, you should check it out) Plaxico Burress shoots himself again, Rex Ryan comes out with a Megaphone ala some WWE star and talks trash to everyone in the post game presser, Shonn Greene goes for 302 and 4 TDs (while sitting on my damn bench) and...Te-bow.

Yet another reminder to me why national TV games suck, IMO. Just play us at 4:00 every Sunday. I can get things DONE when it's 4:00 on Sunday. You start messing with the time, I can't watch. If I can't watch, I get angry. When I get angry, I cry. Yes, I cry. I'm man enough to admit that. Don't you judge me, plebians. I'll tell my mom.

ET80, OUT!

Don't worry we're good. Very Happy
