Just not seeing trap blocking much anymore,

It's always been a great way to slow down an aggressive DL. Let a guy (JJ Watt for example) through, then have a guard like Beadles hit him in the armpit with a full head of steam. Knocks 'em into next week and makes 'em think twice about passing the OL front.

Sure would like to see it more from the Bronco's.

We did see it at times last year with Beadles and he was actually pretty good at it. It could be that we've had Ramirez in and maybe he couldn't handle it?

I was thinking the same thing the other day AK, especially when Beadles best asset seems to be blocking on the move.

Thanks 07 and jonny. Glad to know I'm not the only one.

I'm no fan of Beadles in pass pro, but he's quite a stud on the move. Gets to speed pretty quick and can do some damage in "short space". he could send a message vs the Pats this week.

That being " crack our OL front and we'll plant you". Good old fashioned football. Also very effective.

Chris Kuper is our most accomplished player on these types of plays and he hasn't played yet.

We used it in this past weekend against the Raiders. Beadles came down on Seymour and McGahee bursted right up the middle. I think we should use it on Wilfork.

I reckon with Wilfork and Jones this week Beadles will be doing it a lot. I reckon Koppen will be an advantage too because he will know these guys ins and outs, more Wilfork then Jones

I think we will see it against Wilfork. If Kuper can practice fully all week I think he will start. He and Beadles are both adept blockers on the move and I think McGahee and Hillman will be a big part of the gameplan.

can't disagree with Kuper, but it's the NFL. Any O Lineman who makes it here has been running traps for years.

If they can't do it at this level they shouldn't be here.

I always felt the inside trap at the NFL was a risky play, especially with how explosive DT's are these days.
