And they just have to split the back out wide, too. The few times they've exploited play-action, Brady's had all day to sit there and pick out a wide open target. |

A few things.
-Peyton is still Peyton. One of the best players to play the game, and someone that can make a 17 point deficit feel like nothing.
- Von Miller and Demaryius Thomas are absolute studs. The Broncos should go far this year.
- The refs need to call these holds on Chandler. He's being choked out every game.
- Nink was average as usual, but good job finding that ball.
- Defensive line overall couldn't get enough pressure without Mayo IMO. Also, they were gashed repeatedly by Willis Freakin' McGahee.
- Something has to be done about this secondary... Making every opposing QB look like a future HOFer since 2008ish. Moore should be cut ASAP, and Dennard needs to be the #1 CB because McCourty is just trash. Sick of his constantly getting beat.
- Ridley and Bolden looked like studs again! The run blocking is #1 in the league.
- Daniel Fells needs to stop running routes. It's pointless.
That's all I can think of atm. |

My real issue with it is that Jones still can't seem to get any respect from the refs. He was held, fairly blatantly, at a few critical junctures and the official staring right at the play swallowed his whistle every time. I don't get how, when a pass rusher is even with his blocker, and the blocker reaches back and grabs a handful of jersey, that it's not immediately called as holding. |

Why does Peyton look like an anvil has landed on his head every time he takes his helmet off? _________________

Can't say I agree with this. They're a very flawed team, especially on defense, and it's hard to see them as much more than a 9-7 type squad at the end of the year. |

at 31-7 I let myself start to enjoy it. Big mistake. O-line showed it still has problems in pass protection.
Main issue: We run it effortlessly most of the game, but whenever we pass we got empty backfield.
Is that about not trusting the line? _________________

Actually he's one of the few players who wears his helmet properly (if you don't like concussions anyway.) _________________

You'd think they'd keep an extra blocker in if they didn't trust the line. Taking the back and splitting him out wide takes one defender out of the box, but that extra defender probably isn't rushing anyway, and having a back in to pick up a stunting rusher or help chip on one of the edge guys could make a big difference in protection on some of those plays. |

In my book Ninkovich gets the TB award. Awesomely clutch performance. Von Miller was probably the best player on the field though. _________________

That's all I can think of atm. | It's Elvis Dumervil syndrome, he gets held a lot but never gets called. _________________

Speed rushers always get more favorable calls than power rushers. Explains Jones, doesn't explain Dumervil though. _________________
