When Briggs made his momentous interception and ran the ball in, the camera switched to the Bears' sideline and Lovie Smith. He was smiling and laughing like I have rarely seen him when on the sideline. Typically he is looking like he is passing a kidney stone but he looked totally delighted tonight. Good to see.
I want to congratulate him and his staff for preparing the team and superb game plans.
Starting out running the ball enough to keep the rush off and adjusting to the Cowboys running 8 in the box with that brilliant passing drive in the 3d for a td was perfect.
We got good play out of our guys along down the line.
O line was awesome all night. WRs looked great with no drops. Open ALL night. RBs pounded the line all night and played a critical role in keeping the rush in check. TE made a couple of terrific catches.
And our defense played its best game in a long time.
Now the key is to KEEP IT UP! In the past we win a big game then lose one we should never lose. |

Wow. Just Wow. Where has this offense been hiding?
This could be '63 or '85.
The NFC N will be just intense. _________________ "I have to keep playing so people over 40 will have somebody to root for on Sunday afternoons." George Blanda who played until he was 46 |

Our offense scored 20 points, it's not that impressive. _________________ Martellus Bennet highlight video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5lP8fHN53t0 |

Our offense scored 20 points, it's not that impressive. | They punted once in the 2nd half, that's pretty damn impressive. _________________

Our offense scored 20 points, it's not that impressive. | They are designed to control the clock not score huge, unnecessary points. Our offense completely controlled the Dallas defense and I have no doubt they could have scored a lot more points if they had wished. |
