? He's the only player who actually did something positive in that game. | You know he's the starting QB right? Leading one of the worst offenses in the NFL.
We have the 31st ranked offense in the NFL bro, think about that. Think of all the bad QB in this league and they have better offense than us. |
I can only imagine how good they would look in our offense with our beastly run game and creative play calling. _________________

You could say the same for the entire defense. Tackling was poor, no pressure, everyone overpursued on nearly every play. Nobody in our secondary can cover and our DLine is filled with overpaid bums.
Id say 80% of the defense gets replaced entirely next year. |
We don't have the cash or picks to replace 7 or 8 players on defense while also having to fix our Offense. Bracnh, McClain, Houston, Shaughnessy, Wheeler and Burris are all worth keeping and seeing how they do on a half decent defense with a pass-rusher and cornerbacks. |
Yeah I was going to mention that overhauling a whole D would probably not be the best idea. Best plan is to hold over some of the guys and bring in some pieces to build around.
McClain I'm almost ready to write off, but I'll give him the season.
Branch is a disappointment. Regressed in coverage again.
I agree with the others you listed too. I like our depth at some positions though. Bryant, Bilukidi, Crawford and Burris are worth keeping. Maybe Mitchell. _________________

With his current playing time, it's pretty safe to say he won't be re-signed. _________________

Definitely a few more depth guys worth keeping on defense, just listed the starters who I think will be kept around. Also one of Seymour or Kelly will probably be kept. Needing two DT starters an then depth will probably be to much for us. Ron Bartell or Spence will be kept as well. _________________

Shaughnessy is a solid DE against the run though and in a 4-3 team they are still needed. He'd also be a good rotation guy as a pass rusher. He's just not a specialist pass rusher and shouldn't be expect to be one. _________________

He's also playing on the wrong side. If the Raiders acquire a pass rushing RDE, Shaughnessy could play the strong side where he belongs. If they do that and shift Houston inside to DT, I think the Raiders pass rush could be a lot better. _________________

yupyup. Was going to mention both of those groups of 2. Shaggy shouldn't be a starter at RE imo. I'd be fine with sliding Houston to DT and moving Shaughnessey back to LE then going after a pass rushing RE. _________________

Any and all progress that was made in the last 2 years is gone=ugly
Past 10 years and 0 winning seasons going on 11= ugly
The organization as a whole= ugly
Trying to be optimistic at all anymore is also ugly because I can't find a reason anymore. U can pick out a few upsides but the players are sooooo inconsistent and the team hasnt really played or been coached as true contenders in years. I don't how the franchise will ever get outta same old routine where u have a few good players and the rest are horrific. I've just become accustomed to rooting for anyone playing the eagles than for the team I used to cherish. They're just disappointing every year and I've lost any hope for this season again already. |

That's the problem, our entire d-line is run stuffers. We don't have anyone that can pass rush. _________________ (MLB)=A's, (NFL)=Raiders, (NBA)= Warriors

this game was hella embarrassing
good
-tj
-cp in the first half
-moore
bad
-cp in the 2nd half
-dmac (he wasnt the same after the head to head hit)
-defense our cb's are practice squad types
-myers blocking
ugly
-rolo (did anyone else see him talking hella trash to willis and willis just went off and shredded us) stfu rolo unless you make some plays. i said before the game id rather see him blitz than be in the dum zone pass d cause he always gets exposed.
-o-line and picking up blitzes (myers and dmac got owned on blitzes and gave up big plays) _________________
