Anyone have any idea how much a billboard advertisement would cost in KC? We could pool our money and get one right outside Arrowhead that begs the FO to get a new QB. _________________

Hey you guys remember that game against the Cardinals in preseason? That was awesome!!! Cassel showed that it was obvious Haley was holding him back...just give him a few more games, remember 2010 he exploded into a pro bowl QB in week 5 or 6.
Scott
http://espn.go.com/blog/afcwest
"If Cassel is pulled this early in the season, it will be a shame. He is the only quarterback available who gives this team a chance to win. He hasn’t been awful this season. Yes, he had a poor showing Sunday. But so did the rest of the offense. This offense was the No. 1-ranked offense in the NFL through three weeks and Cassel was a big reason why the Chiefs won at New Orleans. Teams bench quarterbacks when they are completely lost. Cassel is not lost."
Bill W.
"Cassel is “super athletic” and capable of winning games, but falling behind 20-0 is tough on any quarterback."
“Next week, he will come out and be great and he will silence the critics,” “That’s the way it is with quarterbacks.” Eric Weddle
Clearly, Weddle hopes he plays the next time these two teams meet...if that isn't telling I don't know what is. _________________

GM (default)
HC (you are down by 2 touchdowns with just over 5 minutes to go in the 4th quarter and you kick the ball to the Chargers?)
QB (As I said in the gameday thread, the guy does not have it. His wide receivers bailed him out time and again (minus McCluster and Moeaki). He will make a play or two that is a "plus" play and then a handful of either "huh" plays or his at a minimum 1 completely boneheaded play per game. The interception to Weddle right out of the gate was a perfect example. And the other times when he did go deep he just seemed to close his eyes and chuck the ball down the field. He has absolute zero confidence in himself. That is obvious. _________________

it's pathetic how Cassel can't even take blame for the Weddle INT. Just like the one last week (or maybe it was against Buffalo), he just says "Guy was in a good position and made a good play" Matt doesn't even understand that he can't make that throw. It's disgusting. This guy is a terrible leader. He can't handle tough questions. He has no business being in the NFL. _________________

Yet another loss where Crennel says that the coaches have to do a better job. He has to go. QB is by far our biggest problem right now though.
And I honestly would have no problem with Pioli if he just drafted a good QB in this years draft. But I wouldn't mind if he was fired either. _________________

Do you think you guys would actually take Geno one year after drafting Weeden? _________________

If we keep losing, absolutely. Gives the owner a chance to start with a clean slate and get his guy. _________________

Owners should absolutely never be making personnel decisions. _________________

If your team goes 2-14 and has the #1 pick, are you going to stick with a 30 year old 2nd year QB who might not fit the philosophy of the next coach you bring in or start from scratch? _________________

Depends on how much of it is his fault. They never should have picked him that high in the first place. _________________

No offense, but if Haslam runs the Browns the way he runs his truck stops. You can expect him to be a cheap owner. This is coming from a manager at one of his Pilots gas stations.
So you might see things play out longer then you want to. |
