Outside Geno Smith, who has more than a few detractors himself - there seems to be very little consensus on who the next best prospects are and whether there are any bonafide franchise QB's in the whole draft. Matt Barkley has been savaged for a lack of arm-strength, despite being an early 1st round candidate if he had declared last year. Tyler Wilson has his supporters, but has suffered a very poor year. Then you have any one of the following, with huge questions marks next to their name:
EJ Manuel
Ryan Nassib
Aaron Murray
AJ McCarron
Zac Dysert
Landry Jones
Tyler Bray
Mike Glennon
Tajh Boyd
If you are one of the teams looking for a new Quarterback - do you pull the trigger on one of these guys and where do you take them? _________________

EJ Manuel--Late 2nd
Mike Glennon--3rd
Ryan Nassib--3rd
Zac Dysert--3rd
Aaron Murray--Late 3rd
AJ McCarron--4th
Tyler Bray--4th
Tahj Boyd--4th
Landry Jones--5th
I don't think Murray, McCarron, Bray, or Boyd will declare, they can all help themselves up about a round, maybe more, by staying. _________________

| Tyler Bray and Landry Jones look like 1st round QBs to me considering that Andy Dalton and Christian Ponder were considered as such when NFL prospects. |

Of all the QB prospects? Jones and Bray? I can see somebody liking Bray, he's done fairly well during parts of the season but Landry Jones? Landry Jones? Neither are first round prospects in any circumstance. _________________

I'm not convinced there are any franchise QBs in this draft. But given the right coaching, I think Barkley might have the best shot to become one. _________________ 2013 Draft Needs: RB, Safety. Maybe RT and backup LBs |

You don't think Bray has a very good chance of declaring considering all of the uncertainties surrounding who is going to be the head coach next year? I wouldn't be shocked at all to see Bray and Hunter declare. _________________

Really the question is.
"Is there a guy that , as a GM, you are willing to risk your career for?"
my answer...a resounding no. _________________

Although that does bring up the followup questions:
1. Does next year's batch look any better? Honestly, I can't say it does, which is a bit frightening considering how QB classes almost never turn out as good as they initially look. Remember how bright this QB class looked last march?
2. Are you willing to risk your career on your current QB or any of the Free Agent QBs if you can convince them to sign. |

2. Geno Smith and Tyler Wilson. Neither are Luck or RG3, but they are both better prospects than Dalton, Ponder, Gabbert at the least. They will both be very good NFL QBs in my view. I'm not sold on anyone else. _________________

I've heard that the staff and other people know that he has attitude and emotional problems. Idk how well he plays no one wants that crap in an NFL locker room, he would get depressed as hell after one bad game. |

You're kidding me right? How many underwhelming seasons from this guy do we need to see before people get off the hype train? I've watched so many of this guy's games and theres no way he can be a successful starter in the NFL. Brandon Weeden is better than Jones and he won't even be starting in 2 years |
