I was just saying that Chip Kelly's offense doesn't really produce NFL quarterbacks but that Marcus Mariota looks the part of being a future NFL draft pick. He's big, has a strong arm, accurate, and mobile. Plus he's only a freshman so he has a lot of time to grow as a prospect. _________________

Johnny looks like he could be legit, he is a wayy better passer than most QB's that run as much as him. Texas A&M has a bright future with him at the helm. in 2 years outside of Deanthony he could be the most exciting player in football |
Good 'ol Johnny Football.
I have family who are A&M alumni, and they cannot stop talking about this guy - and rightfully so. There is just an "IT" factor to him. Skip the dual threat, skip the arm strength and decision making skills that should improve as the starter...there is something about the guy that makes you think he is gonna be special. If Ryan Tannehill can mature from a freshman WR to the 8th pick overall, then Manziel might be a #1 pick one day. Guy has every feasable tool you would like in a QB, and any flaws he has can be worked on as he progresses in college.
Guy has a bright future, if he can stay healthy and improve. _________________

Max Wittek is one of my favorite under the radar prospects in the country. While he hasn't seen the field much thanks to being stuck behind Matt Barkley, he definitely looks the part of a future NFL quarterback. He has a rocket arm, the strongest of any USC quarterback since Carson Palmer, and is probably the most mobile quarterback to come through the program during the Carroll/Kiffin era. I know it's a little early to start projecting him as a prospect but I feel that he will be a much better prospect than Matt Barkley when it's said and done and could potentially end up being a top five pick within the next few years. _________________

You honestly think Cody Kessler is going to beat out Max Wittek? _________________

He is tiny though. If he were 6'3? No doubt. But he's a lot shorter. _________________

I'm going to go ahead and add a Horned Frog to this list...
QUARTERBACK
TREVONE BOYKIN
6'2" - 215 LBS.
This kid is electric! Remember the name, he's got a huge upside. _________________

Has one the worst throwing motions ever seen. He'll be back sitting behind Pachall next year. |
