That includes you too, buddy.
I still believe he is, unfortunately. Is it sad that I'd still prefer to see Quinn or Stanzi? _________________

Flipped over to the ATL Carolina game just in time to see Matt Ryan stand with poise backed up in his own endzone throw a ball 60 yards in the air to Roddy White moving the chains and giving ATL the chance to win. This leaves me thinking this..
1. Gosh we got the short end of that coin flip...
2. Man it's awesome seeing a franchise QB with poise
3. I wonder if Matt Cassel could throw it 30 yards in the air even without being pressured. _________________

the defense actually had an okay game. Only 1 drive over 50 yards until the last drive without DJ. 293 total yards. _________________

I too have said and still feel Cassel is the best QB on the team. But I'm ready to give someone else the chance to prove me and the other wrong.
ANYONE, the only QB that is available I wouldn't take right now is Palko. _________________

The only guys that showed up to play today were guys that Pioli inherited. We need to get rid of Pioli. _________________

RVM I agree, it's hard to see the defense played well when you look at the score. But when you look at the stats they weren't terrible. They obviously could have played better, and I am really afraid something is seriously wrong with DJ. That would be devastating to our team. _________________

Here's how I look at it:
The Atlanta Falcons are considered a top 3 team right now.
They have a franchise quarterback.
Even BEFORE they had their franchise quarterback, they had a DIFFERENT franchise quarterback.
...and even when they had that prior franchise quarterback, they drafted yet ANOTHER quarterback in the second round who went on to become a franchise quarterback in the great state of Texas.
The Falcons have had three different franchise QBs in the last 6 or 7 years and they drafted every single one of them. Better yet, every single one of them are currently starting for their respective teams. When was the last time we drafted a QB in the first two rounds of the draft? Seriously. That's an honest question. When was the last time? It hasn't happened within the last 10 years, I know that much. That's pathetic.
Whatever.
For anyone wondering who the QBs were for the Falcons, I'm referring to Ryan, Vick and Schaub. _________________

the defense (up until the last 2 drives when the game was over anyway) absolutely played well enough to win if we don't turn the ball over so much. _________________

So what teams are our major competition that are also looking to get a QB in next years draft? _________________
