GDT Week Four: Titans @ Texans

The glorious warriors of Nashville, fresh off their epic victory over the Michigan Sparkle Kittens (not to be confused with their Jacksonvillian brethren), look to strike fear into the hearts of the NFL and pretty much the whole world this weekend with a beatdown of that other Texas football team that isn't the Cowboys. Last week's Titanic performance featured Jake Locker LOLing all over the Sparkle Kittens secondary to the tune of somewhere around eleventy billion yards and several touchdowns. He will doubtless be chomping at the bit to replicate such a performance this Sunday.

Some would say that the Texans' defense presents a much more daunting challenge to Jake Locker than the Lions. What say you, Mr. Locker?



PREPOSTEROUS INDEED! JAKE LOCKER FEARS NOTHING. JAKE LOCKER IS A DESTROYER OF PLANETS. JAKE LOCKER IS A GORGEOUS ORGANISM.

Meanwhile, Chris Johnson will be looking to shake out of his hibernation period which he has bestowed upon the NFL in order to prevent it from being destroyed by his awesomeness. Thus far, on a scale of 1 gold tooth to 5 gold teeth, his performance can be graded as FIVE HUNDRED BORING TEETH MADE PURELY OF ENAMEL AND OTHER LAME NATURAL TOOTHY THINGS.

THIS MUST CHANGE! Mr. Johnson is approaching the situation with his trademark positive attitude.



SO MANY GOLD TEETH. ALL THE GOLD TEETH!

As for the defense. Jerry Gray is working hard on a mysterious gameplan which I'm told utilizes a little-heard-of method known as "playing reasonably well for the entire game."



The final prediction?

TITANS 67, TEXANS 4!!!

Jake Locker proceeds to LOL even harder at the almost-Cowboys' defense, throwing for 9 touchdowns. The Titans get two safeties off of sacks of Matt Schaub by Akeem Ayers and Derrick Morgan. The Texans manage to stop Chris Johnson in the backfield for epic losses in the end zone twice to pick up their only points of the game.

We win in another shoot out 30+ points for both teams only this time Jake drives down the field on a "98" yard drive to score an epic diving TD with no time on the clock to win the game. Crushing the texans and their fans making them lose the next 5 games!

This is going to be a tough game. The texans have looked very good. If our defense is like our first half defense against the lions and we can sustain some drives to keep the Texans O off the field, we could take this game.
