I think we need to focus on finishing off the D in the draft. We are much closer to having a top 5 D then a Top 5 O. But I think what this offense needs the most is some vet presence. Bring in a Vet WR and Vet G even a Vet RB would do wonders for this Offense

Steelers will most likely franchise him.

If we draft a WR with a high pick in April I'm becoming a Bengals fan.

If we continue to blame all offensive issues on WR's instead considering that changing QB's, GM's, HC's, OC's, etc every year or two may, just may, have something to do with our crap offense, I'm gonna kick a puppy...in the nuts.

I think it should be not allowed to Franchise a player on a 4th year tender.

It's dumb. Players rounds 2-7 are not supposed to be superstars, per say. So I think it should be an award to them that after they receive a tender offer from a team, be a FA the following year. Their 5 year in the league. Since they played above their draft status.

No reason the browns can't bring in at least one starting quality FA.

Building through the draft is great, but when the roster stinks FA is another tool that SHOULD be used.

We've just barely missed connecting on a ton of huge plays so far this season, and Jordan Cameron is going to be a star. I'm not worried about our WRs.

the tricky thing with a FA though is that FA has to be willing to come here, we can be into him as much as we want but if he isnt interested in comming here, he isnt. We are a team that is going to have to vastly overpay FA to come here

Mario went to buffalo... No excuses for the browns front office if they are unable to sign FAs.

I am not saying the browns have sign a superstar, but "quality starter" type players should be! Just a couple signing this past offseason would be paying big right now.

Yea cause the Bills were dumb enough to go 100 Million

Ok lets talk a lil hypothetical Situation. lets say you are greg Jennings, Dwayne Bowe or another vet WR that will have suitors. Now no matter where you go you are going to get the money you are looking for. Are you signing with the Cleveland Browns?.........

.

If those guys hit the market they are going to which ever team pays them. Browns supposedly went after a couple WR targets last off season... The players did not go elsewhere because they didn't want to play for the browns, they went elsewhere because the browns would not pay them as much as other teams would. They certainly are not going to come to Cleveland for LESS than what others will pay!

Browns better learn at if they want their guy (cough cough rg3) they better be wiling to open their pocketbooks to make sure they get him....

Or be more flexible in who all they target.

If you're a big time free agent why would you choose to play for Cleveland if you can get the same amount of money elsewhere?
