YOU HEARD ME. SUPERSTITION BE DAMNED. WE'RE THE NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS.
Where: Ralph Wilson Stadium
When: Sunday Sept. 30th, 1:00pm EST
Televised by NBC [Coverage Map]
Last meeting: Week 17, 2011 NFL Season
It was week 17 of the 2011 NFL season, when the Patriots smoked the Bills 49-21 on New Years Day. Buffalo roared ahead 21-0 in the first quarter, but the Patriots went on to score 49 answered points and split the series between the two sides. This game was somewhat the opposite of the week 3 matchup, where it was the Patriots who jumped out to a 21-0 lead only to lose. In this game, Rob Gronkowski broke the record for yardage by a TE in a single season, and combined with Aaron Hernandez to post 246 yards on the day.

You guys should demolish the Bills. The Jets did.
I hope you don't. _________________

Starting to look more and more like Tashard Choice is going to be the primary RB this weekend. Jackson said practice did not go as well as he had hoped. _________________ Shut up, NBT |

As long as Jackson and Spiller are out, I have little to no fear of the Bills offense.
That defensive line however...
Question to any Bills fans who glance at this thread; how has the defense, mainly the front seven, played in the first three games? _________________

Game 1 was terrible; no push at all. Looked like there was no chemistry. Something that happens in the first game of the season when you have a bunch of new starters.
Game 2 and 3 have been the opposite. Just as advertised. 9 sacks in those 2 games and a bunch of pressure.
Also, I expect both Fred Jackson and Spiller to play. _________________

The front seven has played well. Surprisingly, they have played the run better than the pass. I thought Mark Anderson was going to be a liability against the run. He has been pretty good. He gets pushed around a little bit but usually makes an athletic play to make a stop. The pass rush has been effective but not yet dominating. It still starts inside for the bills. We all know about the money they spent on the outside but Kyle Williams is still the best player on the line. He leads the team with 3 sacks through the first 3 weeks. _________________

I see this thread already looking eerily similar to the Cardinals GDT...and I don't like it.
So I will predict the pats win 31 - 21 and the game is closer than the score shows.
Please oh please let me be wrong in a good way _________________

I am scared of Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller, but their injuries could play a part in this weekends game. Right now, I more scared of Steve Johnson embarrassing our corners like McCourty and Arrington, because they haven't been so good. _________________

Fred Jackson though not officially ruled out wont dress, Spiller I believe will start, but might be limited, dont underestimate Tashard Choice though.. Not because of is skill set, but because our OLine is straight beast.. Yeah I said it lol, our OLine has been our best unit and Cordy Glenn has definately found a long term home st LT.. Our front 7 has been improving weekly but our secondary is just meh, and ultimatly I feel will be the deciding factor.. I like the Pats in this game to the tune of 31-20..
Also George Wilson has been almost non existent early on, hes played the Pats strong, so hopefully he makes an impact Sunday. |
