Reminder: We need a link, and we need some commentary from the OP. Just reposting someone elses' twitter doesn't count.

Would of been suspended and fined triple that if he was a player.

Quote:
New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick has been fined $50,000 for "impermissible physical contact with an official" at the end of the Patriots' loss to the Baltimore Ravens, the NFL announced Wednesday.

Belichick grabbed Esteban Garza's arm while exiting the field.

"I have never meant any disrespect or in any way tried to abuse or be disrespectful to the officials and the job that they do," Belichick said after the incident.

...last time he was fined like this, he started to run up the score on everyone in sight. Take the "over" on New England from here on out, for easy money. Very Happy

Agreed. Any other coach would've probably been suspended.

They already eliminated me in the survivor pool with their loss against the Cards Laughing

He deserved to be fined. The disrespect he showed is unacceptable.

Or if it were a regular ref, as opposed to a replacement.

I'm an all time Patriots hater and even I think a suspension is over the top. He was just trying to get the ref's attention and had no malicious intent. It was a heat-of-the-moment thing.

No suspension necessary, a fine is the right way to handle this.

Yeah, I think if he had been suspended that would have been going overboard.

You should change the title to add every other coach who was fined:

Quote:
Broncos coach John Fox was previously fined $30,000, Broncos defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio was fined $25,000 and Redskins offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan was fined $25,000.

Sticks in my craw to defend anything Pats or Belichick but a fine was the right thing and a suspension would have been overboard.

Lol @ sportscenter. Belichik "abused the replacement officials".
